• The Story of Soccial

  When conceptualizing a real estate portal for a client, as a web development company, the idea simultaneously arose to simplify the process of finding a home using natural language searches and infinite filters. For this search to be more efficient, it would need to take into account each user's preferences and personality, as well as all types of detailed relevant data. Upon discovering a way to make this model feasible, the theoretical potential of the technology became apparent if applied universally, and that’s how the idea of Soccial emerged — as the easiest way to find everything around us.

  This brought up the challenge of how to generate effective data to feed this personalized search engine without relying on external services. This led to the concept of a collaborative social network. After developing the search and data organization technology, the process shifted to finding a way to create a concept that could combine all these elements in a simple manner, be genuinely useful, and attract users to participate in organizing everything around us. After many years of coordinating concepts and theoretical technologies, by the end of 2024, we finally figured out how to make this complex ecosystem work.

  Soccial was created by two people, Paulo and Isabel, without relying on external services and with no investment beyond many thousands of hours of dedication and passion. At the moment, we have the technology, the concept fully developed, and many of the features already available in a web, iOS, and Android app.

  Our focus at this stage is on building the community that will strengthen us for the official launch. We are also actively working to secure the financial resources needed to provide all the features we have planned, ensuring that Soccial and its concept make sense as a whole.

  It seems he had a "knack for computers," and especially for the Internet, even before they became popular, and, as they say, the rest is history. He was always ahead of the curve in this field, mastering every detail and potential of the computer, both as a machine and as a tool for creating magic. When the Internet emerged, it became his greatest passion, and learning the art of programming on his own was a natural extension of his ongoing curiosity and pursuit of ever greater knowledge in the field.

  In his continuous exploration of new techniques, markets, and programming experience, not even his higher education at a prestigious school for economists diverted him from his main interest. Instead, his ultimate goal became increasingly clear: the academic path in economics would complement all his personal research and the professional experience he was beginning to accumulate as a programmer. Alongside his studies, he built a journey filled with highly satisfied clients, successful websites that truly worked, and dreams of developing his own "digital concept."

  However, his own concept had to be much more expansive. When the time came to embrace it, it would aim for total disruption of conventional Internet practices, incorporating not only his accumulated knowledge but also futuristic ideas that had been forming and interconnecting along the way. Fascinated by human behavior, a student of the mind and societal phenomena, a fan of strategy games and online (and offline) communities, and nostalgic for the concept of group chats, he remains committed to creating something that is both a step forward and a glorious return for everyone.

  Always an "investigator," curious about the different approaches to life and the rhythms of others — what they choose and who they are every day — she has constantly sought to learn about communities, thought processes, and philosophies. As an observer, she has always felt the need to record every moment of discovery and emotion through photography, capturing even the smallest details. Rarely has a moment gone by without being preserved in photographs of natural good taste, though few were shared publicly, as if each one were a private piece of her memory.

  It was only natural for her fascination with photography to lead her into the world of blogs and online networks, alongside the endless novelty and access brought by the Internet. The instant connection came with the sharing of deeply personal experiences, blending aesthetics, art, and individual perspectives, making the world feel so much closer — and photography was right there, available 24/7. As an enthusiast of traditions and community practices, she quickly became enamored with this world and an active participant, embracing it as a form of self-expression and a quest for that collective spirit. Captivating!

  While completing her master’s degree in marketing, she gained real-world experience managing sales and groups, building and leading teams in multi-level marketing. Her passion for entrepreneurship grew, leading her not only to specialize in the subject, with her final thesis focusing on it, but also to take on a challenge that would prove to be the greatest rollercoaster of her life. Filled with various phases, lessons, and an unrelenting drive to present the world with an incredible final product, the journey continues to inspire.
